Their site in Billingham is local to UCS Technologies head offices in Middlesbrough. They’re a family-run business and one of the largest M&E contractors in the northeast. They offer design, manufacture, and installation services.
TTE Southbank are a technical training provider for oil and gas works to aid progression into the manufacturing and engineering sectors. They oversee the construction of training centres and the progression of apprenticeships and technical study programmes. Courses range from foundation to advanced levels. Training features technical and written assessment.
The Challenge
Geoffrey Robinson approached UCS Technologies in August 2021 requesting a quick turnaround quote with work commencing in the following week. They requested a quotation for the supply of fibre optic cable (to be installed by the Electrical engineers), patch panels and terminations.
What UCS Technologies Did
UCS Technologies supplied 380 metres of Excel OS2 armoured fibre optic cable We also completed a termination of an OS2 fibre cable to a patch panel that we supplied. All works were tested and labelled.
