PD Ports is one of the UK’s major port groups with 12 locations supporting international shipments. Over 1,300 people are employed across all sites nationwide. The PD Ports offices in Billingham provides dedicated & multi-user platforms to ensure customer supply chains are efficient. The location is designed to focus on storage and shipping of cargo with a 195,000 sq ft warehouse with road and rail transport links.
The Challenge
UCS works closely with PD Ports providing services at Teesport, Hartlepool, Felixstowe, Groveport, alongside a call-out package. In September 2021, PD Ports requested a quotation for outlets to service door access controls.
What UCS Technologies Did
UCS provided a quotation for several Cat 5e outlets for door access control use within the main doors, reception, exit doors various offices and meeting rooms.
